We’re replacing the “Big” Playground on the east side of the school!

 

Why?

Safety: Due to safety concerns, playgrounds have very limited lifespans.  While it may appear that the equipment continues to be in good shape, it must be replaced before signs of wear become visible.  Did you know the existing playground is over 20 years old?

 

Accessibility: The replacement of the playground affords us the perfect time to improve the accessibility of our playground to meet the various needs of our students and community.

 

We are planning the replacement to occur over the summer of 2026.

 

This is a very large and expensive (approximately $415,000) undertaking and will not be possible without the support of all of the families and students at the school.  Funding for the playground does not come out of the school’s budget and is solely accomplished by fundraising, donations and grants.
