We’re replacing the “Big” Playground on the east side of the school!

 

Why?

Safety: Due to safety concerns, playgrounds have very limited lifespans.  While it may appear that the equipment continues to be in good shape, it must be replaced before signs of wear become visible.  Did you know the existing playground is over 20 years old?

 

Accessibility: The replacement of the playground affords us the perfect time to improve the accessibility of our playground to meet the various needs of our students and community.

We've completed fundraising and as of September 2026, construction is ongoing. We expect to be done in late October, but keep checking back for updates as we progress through the redevelopment!
